Kraig Zeronik
Assistant Music Director

IMG_5417-1For the past 20 years I have been privileged to engage in both musical and human experiences that allow me to pursue my passion for music. It was in the earliest days of my educational track that I benefited from studying with some of the best musicians and organists at DePauw University. At this moment, I am still reaping inspiration from others. It is through their example that I now can inspire others too. I have an extensive background in organ performance, liturgical music planning, congregational leadership, choir accompaniment, and youth music ministries. Additionally, I have participated in all areas of parish life including, vacation bible school, youth groups, and parish retreats. God has blessed me with the gift of music and I am grateful. My foundation is sustained by four graces – family, the power of music, resiliency, and hope.

“The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.”

– J.S. Bach

Musicians are always welcome here at St. Thomas Becket.

I welcome anyone who would like to join us!

*  The Adult Choir meets on Wednesday evenings from

                      7pm to 8:30pm for rehearsal.

* At present, the 9:00am Liturgy on Sundays is the usual service done by the choir. I am also seeking musically inclined parishioners who would like to join our Adult Choir.

*  Musicians are also present at the 12:30pm Sunday service and the 4:30pm Saturday Mass.

*  Children’s choir participates in certain special liturgies.

* Our Cantor Program is up and coming! It is not necessary to be a Choir member to train for and preside as a Cantor.

* Extensive musical backgrounds are not a prerequisite for participation; you are welcome to join us. If you have a passion for music, there is a place in our music program for you!

* Paula and Kraig  are appealing for musically inclined parishioners who attend the 4:30pm and 12:30pm Masses to volunteer as Cantors for these celebrations. Choir membership is not required for this very important ministry. If you can give of yourself once a month (or more), please see Paula or Kraig after Mass.
